FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival honors George A. Romero with it's Lifetime Achievement Award

Orlando, Florida - The FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival is proud to announce that it will honor legendary horror film director George A. Romero with it's Lifetime Achievement "Freaky" Award for 2008. Every year the festival honors filmmakers and industry people with it's Lifetime Achievement Award which celebrates their work and contribution to independent horror filmmaking. The award will be given to George A. Romero on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival during it's award ceremony. Mr. Romero will be the third recipient of the honored "Freaky"award. "We are honored and thrilled to be giving our Lifetime Achievement Award to George A. Romero, says festival director Robert J. Massetti. "George is a true independent horror filmmaker and an inspiration to all upcoming independent horror filmmakers".
The festival runs October 17-19, 2008 at the Wyndham Orlando Resort, Orlando Florida which features the best independent horror films from around the world.
