Nightmare on Elm Street Remake To Star Billy Bob Thornton?

According to JoBlo, Robert Englund was on the radio program "Loveline" and revealed that there may be a new Freddy Kruger film and that they will possibly be hiring Billy Bob Thornton for the gig.

Englund says it is rumored that Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production company has been tossing around the idea of a remake for quite some time now.

Englund states that he wouldn't be against being replaced by Thornton, and that he would like to see some better dream sequences with a higher budget.
