Tom Cruise To Star in DC Comics Sleeper

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Cruise will be starring in "Sleeper", a DC Comics/Wildstorm comic being adapted by Sam Rami for Warner Bros.
The film will focus on an operative whose been fused with an alien artifact which makes him impervious to pain and allows him to pass it on to others through skin contact. He then becomes a member in a villainous organization and falls for a member of the group, named Miss Misery.
"Sleeper" was written by Ed Brubaker and ran from 2003-2005.
The production date has not yet been announced.
