Christopher Waltz to be in Upcoming Spider-Man?

Rumor has it that Christoph Waltz, who played Col. Hans Landa in "Inglorious Basterds", is being courted to play a villain in the upcoming 3D Spider-Man movie by Marc Webb.

Waltz stars in the upcoming "The Green Hornet", which is slated for release in January. No doubt Waltz has what it takes to play the villain, but one wonders if he will go the Spider-Man route so soon after "The Green Hornet".

It is also unclear as to what villain Waltz would play, though it is rumored to be the role of The Lizard.
