Liman to Direct "All You Need Is Kill"

According to Variety, Doug Liman, of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," "Jumper," "The Bourne Identity" fame, has signed on to direct the time travel film, "All You Need Is Kill".  

The film, which was written by Dante Harper, is about a young recruit named Keiji Kiriya who is sent out to fight and alien invasion.  He dies on the battlefield, only to be reborn each new day, to fight again. The plot thickens when, five months into the cycle, something new happens. A female soldier appears, and may be just what is needed for Kiriya to escape.

Producing the film are Erwin Stoff, Tom Lassally and Jason Hoffs.
