Jackman Speaks About Next Wolverine Film

Hugh Jackman recently spoke with MTV news about his upcoming film, "The Wolverine", while promoting his current flick, "Real Steel".Jackman stated that James Mangold's "Wolverine" won't make the same mistakes that "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" made. In fact, he is hoping for an "R" rating for the film. "There's such great temptation to make an R-rated Wolverine. I've always felt that. I know a lot of fans would like that. I totally get it. If there was ever a superhero that was going to be R-rated, it's Wolverine.
While an "R" rating would be what most die hard Wolvie fans would look for, Jackman also realizes that there are many young kids out there who are into the character as well. "I've also met many, many 12, 13, dare I say 10, 14, 15 year-olds who, for them, Wolverine is not just cool, you see it in their eyes. He's everything to them. So my thing is, which James Mangold and I talked about, is let's not put it off the table."
Let's hope that this film lives up to the very important Japan storyline.
"The Wolverine", which will begin production next spring, will be released in 2013.
