Transformers 2 Script Update

It has been reported that the writers for Transformers 2 have been chosen. Screenwriter Ehren Kruger and the writing team of Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are currently in talks to script the new film.

Returning to the crew are Director Michael Bay, star Shia LaBeouf and producers Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Don Murphy. Also returning is executive producer Steven Spielberg.

The trio of writers is necessary, it's said, because Orci and Kurtman are already writing for a Star Trek movie as well as producing "Eagle Eye" for DreamWorks. All three are also busy writing, Nightlife, an adapted novel by Thomas Perry.
