Johnny Depp Collaborates with Disney for The Night Stalker

Disney is looking to release "The Night Stalker", a remake of the ABC TV film and series, with Johnny Depp to possibly star. Depp would play Carl Kolchak, a tabloid reporter. He and his Infinitum Nihil partner, Christi Dembrowski, will be producing and Edgar Wright will be directing.

The show followed Carl Kolchak as he reported about tabloid stories that were about supernatural beings such as zombies, vampires, aliens and werewolves. He was constantly questioned, and not believed about his stories.

Depp will be starring next in Disney's "The Lone Ranger".
