Could A Metal Gear Solid Film Finally Be A Reality Soon?

Avi Arad has signed on to produce the upcoming film adaptation of "Metal Gear Solid", according to Game Informer.

The film has been in development at Sony since 2006. Arad said, "For many years I fought to bring comics to theaters - and video games are the comics of today. We will take our time and tell the story with all the nuances, ideology, cautionary tales needed."

The film follows an attempt to overtake a secret military base from genetically enhanced soldiers who are developing a next-generation nuclear weapon.
