Release Date Moved Up for Jack the Giant Slayer

"Jack The Giant Killer", which has had a delayed release due to some changes that director Bryan Singer wanted to make, has now undergone a name change as well. 

 

The new title will be "Jack the Giant Slayer", and will star Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, Warwick Davis, Eddie Marsan, and Eleanor Tomlinson.  It follows the story of young farmer who leads an expedition into a giants' kingdom in hopes of rescuing a kidnapped princess, while dealing with the fact that the long-standing peace between men and giants is threatened.

 

While the film had originally been scheduled for a June 15, 2012 release, it was pushed back to March 22, 2013.  Now, the film has been moved up to March 1, 2013.
