007 Sean Connery Would Like To Be A James Bond Villain?
4/9/2008 12:59 PM ESTTags: sean connery james bond
Sean Connery, seven time Bond star, recently stated that he wouldn't mind coming back to the franchise. Not as an aging Bond, but as a bona fide bad guy. The latest Bond film, Quantum Solace, is well into production, so no one knows for sure if this could be a real possibility or if it is just wishful thinking.
Sean Connery, who is now 77, is rumored to have been in negotiations for a villain role since "Casino Royal". "I wouldn't mind coming back as a Bond villain. But I don't think they would pay me enough. They don't pay the money for other parts, only for the Bond character, although that wasn't the case when I was doing it."
