Wildwood (2026)

Headstrong teenager Prue McKeel’s ordinary life outside Portland is shattered when a murder of crows abducts her baby brother and carries him beyond the boundaries of the mysterious Impassable Wilderness. Determined to bring him home, Prue ventures into the forbidden forest with her loyal but hapless classmate Curtis Mehlberg, discovering a hidden world populated by talking animals, dangerous bandits, ancient powers, and rival factions locked in a struggle for control of Wildwood.

As Prue and Curtis journey deeper into the wilderness, their rescue mission becomes part of a much larger conflict threatening the future of the entire realm. Surrounded by unexpected allies and formidable enemies, Prue must uncover Wildwood’s buried histories and secrets while discovering why she was drawn into its world in the first place. Crafted by hand through LAIKA’s signature stop-motion animation, Wildwood transforms Colin Meloy’s acclaimed fantasy novel into a sweeping adventure about courage, sacrifice, friendship, and the extraordinary worlds hiding just beyond the familiar.
