Ruben Fleischer to Direct Chris Evans in Jekyll
It has been announced that Ruben Fleischer will be directing the upcoming film, Jekyll, which will star Chris Evans.  The film is based on the 2007 BBC one Series. 

The six-episode series features the story of Tom Jackman (Chris Evans))+, a descendant of Jekyll who is beginning to experience the same issues of having a split personality.  Jackman decides to leave his family and live in a fortified basement with a nurse.  His two personalities try to co-exist by leaving messages for one another, since they can't remember what happens they aren't in control of this body.  When Jackman decides to visit his wife, his "Hyde" personality takes over, and learns about the family, causing some complications. 

The film will be produced by Marc Platt, Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman, through through their A Very Good Production company, and will be written by Anthony Bagarozzi & Charles Mondry.
