Warner Bros. Moving Ahead with Green Lantern Film
Throughout the years, we have seen a few different takes on the popular Green Lantern character and now Warner Bros., along with DC, are trying to get a new screen version of the character off the ground.

David Goyer has already been chosen to write the script alongside Justin Rhodes, as well as Goyer producing the pic. DC heads Geoff Johns and Jon Berg will be executive producing. The plot will focus on Hal Jordan and John Stewart and is taken from a comic book origin story.

No word yet who would be cast as Green Lantern; Ryan Reynolds starred in the first film, which was lackluster at the box office. Reynolds now plays Deadpool, and has another film as the sarcastic superhero on the way.
