Legendary Comic Don Rickles Dies at 90
Don Rickles, the legendary comic and actor, has died.  He was 90.

Rickles was known as an insult comic, and an honorary member of the infamous Rat Pack, whose members included Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford. He gained a higher level of fame after his 1965 appearance on "The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson", from which he was able to headline in venues throughout Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe.

Despite his being an insult comic, Don Rickles was beloved throughout the Hollywood community and will be sorely missed.

Rickles died of kidney failure.  He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Barbara; a daughter, Mindy, and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Larry in 2011.
