Eddie Murphy Set to Star in Grumpy Old Men Remake
Eddie Murphy has been set to star in a new comedy inspired by "Grumpy Old Men". The film will be directed and produced by Tim Story.

Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon starred in the original film franchise that began in 1993. It was followed by a sequel, "Grumpier Old Men" in 1995. It told the story of lifelong neighbors who have been feuding since they were children. The film also starred Ann Margaret.

While there is no word yet on who would play opposite Eddie Murphy, it is rumored that Samuel L. Jackson's name has been thrown around as a possibility.

Story will be producing through his The Story Company banner along with The Story's Sharla Sumpter Bridgett.
