HBO Looking to Develop Limited Series Based on Parasite

HBO is currently in negotiations to bring a limited series to their network, based on Bong Joon Ho's film "Parasite". The series adaptation will be put together by Bong and Adam McKay.

"Parasite" follows the story of a poor family who decides to concoct a plan to all work for a wealthy family by pretending to be highly qualified for the job. It just won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film.

Bong and McKay will executive produce alongside Choi for Kate Street, Mikey Le, Cho Young Ki and Francis Chung for CJ Entertainment and Kevin Messick for Hyperobject Industries. CJ Entertainment's Jerry Ko is a co-executive producer and Fred Lee is a producer.
