It's Official -- Superman Returns to Get a Sequel

Bryan Singer's Superman Returns has finally broken the magical 200 million dollar mark, and the studio has greenlighted a sequel. Production is scheduled to start in September 2007 with a release date in either 2008 or 2009. This time around the story will be more action oriented than drama and contain a new villain.
