It's Movie News is powered by the online movie community. Registered movie fans control what gets seen on the popular front page movie news section by voting on individual movie stories to "Flick" them up the list. The more flicks a movie story gets the higher it appears and only popular movie stories can be promoted to the coveted front page.

The online movie community is also in control of what movie news gets submitted to FlickDirect! If you find some cool movie news on the Internet, or a link to a hot new movie trailer then members can post a link with their own description/review which will get posted to the movie news page.

Best of all members can join the discussion by commenting directly on the movie story page itself, they can also flick comments up and down of other members if they are spamming or have something extremely witty to say. Nathan has always loved movies, but his real passion began when he saw Die Hard on video back in the late 80s. Ever since then movies have become his life.To-date Nathan has watched over 2,000 movies and he is still counting! Nathan is also the owner of the Disney informational website, MagicalMountain.net, owner of Magical Mountain LLC, and an award winning podcaster who can be heard on our very own FlickDirect Movie Podcast and the Magical Definition Disney podcast.

Eric English, has loved movies ever since he was a little Jedi master. Though he mainly enjoys comedies such as The Big Lebowski, and Old School his taste in movies spans a wide genre of film. Holding a degree in Computer Science and Digital Arts - including work in 3D modeling - Eric is constantly facsinated by what they can put on the screen, and looks toward the future of film with anticipation and wonder. Eric's pride and joy is his home theater system which boasts a Panasonic Plasma TV with a Harmon Kardon 6.1 surround system.

Marco Chacon isn't quite sure what he's doing here. Exposed to radioactive movies at a young age he has gained the proportional strength and agility of celluloid which hasn't proved good for much. However, on the Internet, it's opinion that counts (who needs facts!?) and Marco sure has one of those. Several, in fact. Some contradictory. He has written and published the JAGS RPG which you've never heard of. He's still waiting for Revenge of the Jedi to come out. Besides reviewing movies for FlickDirect Marco is also the co-host of the FlickDirect Movie Podcast which comes out monthly.

Michael is a bonified home theater nut with a lot cool equipment to prove it! His passion for movies is the same as music, extreme variety in tastes. Michael enjoys everything from animated features to head chopping zombie flicks. He currently lives in Clermont, Florida near Orlando. His current theater boosts a Pioneer THX receiver with seven speakers and a (under powered) sub with a high definition 10 ft projection screen all connected to a radical Home Theater PC running a modified version of Microsoft Windows Media Center®.
