HBO Releases "The Girl" Trailer During True Blood Season Finale
8/27/2012 10:31 AM EDTLast night, during the True Blood season finale, HBO released a trailer for their upcoming film, "The Girl". The film will be released on October 20.
The film will follow the story of Alfred Hitchcock's sexual harassment of Tippi Hedren while shooting the film. Toby Jones pays Hitchcock, while Sienna Miller will be playing Tippi Hedren.
Hedren was under contract with Hitchcock for 7 years, during which time "Birds" and "Marnie" were filmed. However, her career came to a halt when she refused to become Hitchcock's mistress.
HBO is expected top release more exclusive clips in the coming weeks.
