Tom Holland Taking Break from Social Media to Focus on Mental Health

"Spider-Man" star Tom Holland has announced that he will be taking a break from social media. The actor says that he needs to focus on his mental health.

The actor posted a 3-minute video talking about his issues with social media, saying, "I have taken a break from social media for my mental health because I find Instagram and Twitter to be overstimulating, to be overwhelming." He added, "I get caught up and I spiral when I read things about me online and ultimately it's very detrimental to my mental state. So, I decided to take a step back and delete the app."

He went on to say, "There is an awful stigma against mental health and I know that asking for help and seeking help isn't something we should be ashamed of."

He ended his video by saying, "I love you all and I'll speak to you soon."

Holland has starred as Spider-Man in six Marvel films, including "Spider-Man: No Way Home".
